Episode 105 - Tetrarch Interview

Tetrarch is a band that is getting quite a bit of attention lately, and rightly so. They have worked incredibly hard to get to where they are today. Touring, putting out music, sleeping in Walmart parking lots. Whatever it takes to get their amazing music out there, this band has done it. This episode of The Bobcast features an interview with Josh Fore, the singer and guitarist of Tetrarch and we talked about some rad stuff. SPOILERS AHEAD! How Josh and Diamond Rowe met - hint - she almost killed him. Which Green Day record is best to listen to all the way through - it’s American Idiot. How the band got it’s name and more! You also get to hear one of the songs off of Tetrarch’s brand new record, “Unstable” and that song is “Negative Noise”. A thrash-terpiece of amazing metal mayhem. Included with the price of admission is a brand new Crusty’s Corner, where our pal Michael Crusty spends some time talking to Daniel Dekay about their favorite Judas Priest record. Brought to you by Sticker Junkie. Josh was SUPER rad to talk to, Tetrarch is a SUPER rad band, get RAD and listen to this one ASAP. Here are some links and the legal stuff!

Episode 98 - Paranormal Ponderings Part One with Amanda Paulson

Welcome to a brand new series of episodes on the Bobcast, this time around we’re talking about all things paranormal and the occult in the “Paranormal Ponderings” series! Now, rather than talking all about the subjects at hand myself, I’ve gathered some of the finest people involved in the paranormal and occult world today to discuss these otherworldly matters. This first episode is all about paranormal investigating and features an interview with the force behind “Pretty F’n Spooky”, Amanda Paulson. Amanda is a paranormal investigator with no equal in my mind. Join us as we talk about her favorite equipment to take on an investigation, what criteria she uses to choose a location to investigate and she’ll even tell you about one of her first paranormal encounters! Good stuff. Also featured in this one is another installment of “Mysterious Musings With Ivy Boyd”, where Ivy tells of a couple of recent investigations she was a part of. Music! A cover of the “Ghostbusters” theme song by No Small Children and a brand new song by metal’s finest minstrels, Tetrarch. Check out these links and some other stuff!!

Episode 76 - Petrifying Poetry and Malevolent Metal

Good evening! Welcome to poetry night, Bobtober style. Prepare to be petrified with fear, as I read selected works of putrid poetry from Edgar Allen Poe, Emiliy Dickinson, HP Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard. Six poems in all await you, all sinister, all spookily spectacular. Here they are, in order of appearance -

“Dead Man’s Hate” by Robert E. Howard

“Halowe’en In A Suburb” by HP Lovecraft

“Because I Could Not Stop For Death” and “I Felt A Funeral, In My Brain” by Emily Dickinson

“The Haunted Palace” and “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe.

Writhing in between the phantasmal poems are four songs by Sao Paulo, Brazil’s Goddess’ Of Gore, Nervosa. The songs are (also in order of appearance) “Horrordome”, “Vultures”, “Kill The Silence” and a BRAND NEW SONG, “Guided By Evil”. Join me for these repulsive recreations - if you dare.
