About the podcast

My name is Bob and this is my podcast. I like to talk about music that I love and bands that I love. Most of these bands are of the DIY Punk variety, though I plan to cover more Metal, Hardcore and Oi! bands in the future. I am a lover of music in all of it’s myriad forms, except “modern country”. That stuff can take a hike, as far as I’m concerned. I love doing interviews with bands, that’s where the good stuff comes out. Some of the bands/people that I’ve interviewed are the following - Joe Wood of Change Today / ex-TSOL, Mike Bruno of Iron Chic, Se Vende, Graeme of Broccoli, Lost Avenue (Ireland), Legacy (Columbia), Gared of Planes Mistaken For Stars and tons more. Besides music, my next favorite subject to talk about is ghosts, haunted places, paranormal topics, that kind of thing. The scarier and spookier, the better. My new favorite thing to do is a combination of music and paranormal subjects - take the band on a ghost hunt! Pre-Covid 19, I had completed two ghost hunting excursions with two different bands. The band Se Vende and I went on a very gnarly and very scary ghost hunt at an abandoned warehouse in San Diego, which is detailed in Episode 40 of the podcast. Next up in the ghost hunting department was a visit to the Hotel Cosmopolitan, also in San Diego, with the band Ash Williams (Episode 41). The Cosmo is supposed to be haunted by a ghost-cat, which I think we encountered. I had several more ghost hunting trips set up with several bands, to do a combo ghost hunt / band interview episode, but, alas, Covid 19 shut everything down. Some other subjects I’ve covered have been skateboarding related, a history series of the band I’ve been in for 28 years, Tiltwheel and a couple of “deep look” series - one on Danzig and The Misfits, one on The Smiths and Morrissey. The future for the podcast? I’ll be taking a look at more horror and paranormal subjects, more bands and music, more fun stuff. Stay tuned.

The podcast is released on a weekly basis, every Monday morming to be exact. As of October 2020, the podcast has nearly 30,000 downloads per month for all episodes. Patreon episodes are released bi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
